Redakcja zlożyła skargę w sprawie rynku kierownic do hulajnóg na skateparki

Complaint on discrimination of tall children in the market for push scooters handlebars

Hi,

In front of my office, just next door, there lives my neighbor. His child, being quite young, broke the handlebar of his push scooter. 

Now the children are quite big. He is 1 meter 94 centimeters tall and he is still a child that wants to use his push scooter. I suppose he could be 12 or 13. The child from the next door complained that he cannot find a suitable stunt scooter handlebar. He checked many websites (like Skatepro and others) and he said that if there are any, they are very, very expensive, much above the cost of a normal push scooter handlebar. He said such handlebar had to be longer than 80 or even 90 centimeters. Probably there are such handlebars, but children, when searching on their own, cannot find them.

Recently I stand in the cue and I asked the tall person in front of me, what was his age. He was 12 years old and he was much higher than me, an adult, of 1 meter 82 centimeters of age.

I also observed that these handlebars tend to broke (2 days ago I was at the skatepark and I saw the handlebar break) and at the skatepark young users tend to buy very expensive handlebars made of titanium. Parents complain about the high cost for these handlebars- being similar to that of a used second hand passenger car here in Poland. I saw a used titanium handlebar being offered for 1800 PLN in Nowa Sól, a town nearby.
